Description:

Own the controls network layer for BMS, EPMS, and SCADA across all sites, ensuring a standardized architecture.
Build telemetry and command paths for the Ignition SCADA platform, managing electrical overloads and ensuring safe operations.
Engineer failure modes for graceful communication loss and maintain security between OT domains.
Collaborate with facility engineers and security to embed the controls network in site design from the start.

Requirements:

Experience designing and operating OT/ICS networks in production facilities with physical consequences for outages.
Familiarity with BACnet/IP, Modbus TCP, and OPC UA, including their failure modes and underlying IT layers.
Proven ability to build segmented industrial architectures with firewalled IT/OT boundaries.
Strong documentation skills to enable other engineers to replicate designs.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to data centers and construction sites.
Bonus: Knowledge of IEC 62443 or similar OT security, Ignition SCADA, and electrical metering systems.
