Description:

Seeking experienced backend and infrastructure engineers to design reinforcement-learning environments for AI systems.
Role involves backend engineering, DevOps, cloud architecture, and systems reliability.
Contract position, approximately 20 hours per week, fully remote.

Requirements:

Strong professional experience in backend software engineering (Python, Go, Java, C++, Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript).
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
Proven experience with distributed systems in production.
Strong understanding of networking, service communication, and production-system architecture.
Knowledge of IAM, authentication, authorization, and infrastructure security.
Experience with queues, asynchronous systems, databases, and durable storage.
Understanding of observability, deployment strategies, scalability, and disaster recovery.
