Description:

HappyCo is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead architectural design and technical strategy during a significant phase of platform evolution.
The role involves creating clarity in complex systems, assessing current architectures, defining target architectures, and enabling teams to work more efficiently.
Responsibilities include architecting and designing enterprise-scale SaaS software systems, assessing existing architectural patterns, defining and documenting target architectures, and leading technical design reviews.
The engineer will drive platform modernization initiatives, provide hands-on technical leadership, and act as a trusted advisor to leadership.
The position requires developing a comprehensive view of HappyCo’s existing architecture and translating that into a clear roadmap for change.

Requirements:

Candidates must have deep experience designing and evolving complex, production-grade SaaS platforms.
