Description:

HHAeXchange is a leading technology platform for home and community-based care, founded in 2008.
The Principal Software Engineer is a senior technical leader responsible for setting technical direction and guiding engineering teams without managing people.
The role involves designing API-first software and healthcare data exchange solutions on AWS, ensuring software quality in performance, reliability, scalability, security, and accessibility.

Requirements:

Education: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of software engineering experience in a product company, with 5+ years in healthcare software handling PHI under HIPAA.
Hands-on experience with HL7 and FHIR, strong production experience with C# and .NET, and knowledge of another language (Python or Java).
Experience with AWS, microservices, containers, and SaaS architecture.
Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, security practices, and technical leadership.
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Competitive base salary range of $165,000-180,000/yr, excluding variable compensation.
