Description:

Build the developer experience and deployment foundation for the Salesforce engineering team at Vanta.
Establish modern CI/CD practices, harden the release pipeline, and prepare the codebase for AI-assisted development workflows.
Own the Platform/DX domain end-to-end during an initial 9–12 month buildout, transitioning to a 50/50 split with traditional Salesforce Engineering.

Requirements:

5+ years of Salesforce engineering experience, including hands-on Salesforce Platform Engineering in production.
Experience with Gearset, Salesforce DX, and Git-based deployment workflows.
Proven ability to define and enforce branching strategies, code review standards, and release processes.
Strong understanding of Apex and LWC testing frameworks, and experience managing Salesforce sandboxes or scratch orgs.
Familiarity with feature flag patterns and observability for Salesforce.
Strong communication skills and curiosity about AI-assisted development.
Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II) are a plus but not required.
