Remote Staff Platform Engineer

Description:

• OpenSea is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to design and evolve the platform, services, and infrastructure that support its products.
• The role involves partnering with product engineers to enhance developer experience, system performance, and operational excellence while integrating AI-enabled workflows.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with large-scale backend or platform systems.
• Strong fluency in JVM languages (Kotlin or Java) and experience with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of platform engineering principles, CI/CD, observability, and operational best practices.
• Ability to tackle complex technical problems and deliver scalable solutions.
• Experience with AI tools to improve engineering quality and efficiency.
• Passion for Web3, digital ownership, AI, or emerging technologies.
