Remote Security Engineer

Description:

• Join Worth AI as a hands-on Security Engineer to enhance vulnerability management, secure AWS environments, and integrate application security into software development.
• Own projects from scoping to implementation while managing daily security tickets and collaborating with engineering, IT, and compliance teams.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in security engineering, security analysis, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS security services (IAM, VPC, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail).
• Practical experience with vulnerability management tools and workflows.
• Knowledge of application security concepts (OWASP Top 10, SAST/DAST).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Preferred: AWS certification, experience with security tools (Wiz, Tenable, Qualys, Snyk), scripting skills (Python or bash), and familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2).
