Remote Security Infrastructure Engineer

Description:

• Seeking a software engineer specializing in security and infrastructure to enhance Tailscale's product security team.
• Responsibilities include designing security controls, improving security features, auditing infrastructure, and supporting engineering decisions with security expertise.

Requirements:

• Expertise in cloud platform security (e.g., AWS) and multi-cloud networks.
• Familiarity with container security, orchestration security, and web security fundamentals.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Go) and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Prior experience in infrastructure security, security operations, threat modeling, or digital forensics.
• Knowledge of operating system internals, networking protocols, and ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert during security incidents.
