Description:

  • Define and evolve the technical architecture for Caseware’s AI platform.
  • Design, build, and operate AI systems powered by LLMs and multi-agent systems.
  • Implement evaluation, governance, auditability, and traceability frameworks for AI systems.
  • Translate AI advancements into practical platform capabilities.
  • Influence technical direction through architecture reviews and collaboration.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and lead proof-of-concepts.
  • Drive reliability and operational efficiency in production environments.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to overall engineering maturity.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • 2+ years building and operating production AI systems.
  • Proven experience designing distributed, SaaS, cloud-native platforms.
  • Strong understanding of AI system tradeoffs (latency, cost, accuracy).
  • Extensive experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and influencing architectural decisions.
  • Strong English communication and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable in fast-moving environments with ambiguity.
