Description:

Join a growing engineering team in the eCommerce payment processing space as a Senior Backend Developer.
Lead the migration from legacy Perl/crontab infrastructure to a modern Python-based architecture for file processing.
Design, build, and operate systems for processing daily scheme files (e.g., Visa and Mastercard).

Requirements:

5+ years of production-grade Python experience.
Proven experience with job orchestration using Prefect or Airflow.
Solid experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, SQS, ECS).
Strong experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and large-scale file processing.
Advocate for clean code and deep engineering logic.
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
Nice to have: Familiarity with payment scheme file formats and experience with Perl.
