Description:

Seeking a Senior Python Backend Developer (Services) to enhance service layer architecture.
Focus on designing and building reliable, scalable microservices and transforming legacy systems.

Requirements:

5+ years of backend engineering experience with strong Python expertise and AsyncIO proficiency.
Production-grade experience with FastAPI.
Experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL, including query design and migration strategies.
Experience writing unit and integration tests (pytest preferred).
Expertise in designing and consuming external APIs with knowledge of webhooks and retry policies.
Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently in complex distributed environments.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Nice to have: Experience with PHP, Perl, JavaScript, Kafka, Redis, Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and financial industry exposure.
