Description:

  • Join a small engineering team building a bespoke distributed execution engine in Rust for a B2B sourcing platform in the automotive dealership industry.
  • Focus on developing a horizontally scalable, step-based execution engine that drives order processing and ETL pipelines.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of backend development experience.
  • 3+ years of professional Rust experience.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and fault-tolerant software architecture.
  • Familiarity with graph theory, type theory, parsers and compilers, with a focus on distributed systems.
  • Real-world DevOps experience.

Benefits:

  • Hybrid work setup in Berlin/Wildau (1 day in office) or fully remote for other European locations.
  • Official employment in Germany or B2B contract elsewhere in Europe.
  • Full-time position (~40 hours/week) with meaningful overlap with CEST hours.
