Bestow is a technology platform transforming the life insurance industry by enabling carriers to launch products quickly.
The Senior Backend Engineer II will work on the IPC Engineering team to build and operate modular services using Python, Go, and Java.

Requirements:

5+ years of professional backend software development experience at a senior level.
Strong proficiency in Go and Python; Java experience is a plus.
Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and API design.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases at scale.
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker, GCP).
Proven track record of building, deploying, and troubleshooting production services.
Experience with AI coding tools in daily workflow.
