Remote Senior Cloud Computing Systems Engineer

Description:

• Seeking a senior, hands-on Cloud Computing Systems Engineer for advanced technical and operational support of cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
• Responsible for mentorship, guidance, and ensuring high levels of systems and cloud infrastructure availability.
• Collaborates with Cloud Engineering Leads, Software Engineering, Data Services, Data Scientists, and Solutions Architects for application and PaaS service configuration, testing, validation, and deployments.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years as an Azure cloud engineer supporting PaaS services and network technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform is essential.
• Focused experience with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Services is a significant plus.
• Azure certification is highly desired; AKS certification (CKAD) and HCI (Azure stack) experience preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and solid understanding of Azure public cloud platform.
