Description:

Dandy is seeking a hands-on Senior Data Engineer to join their Data Infrastructure team, responsible for the data platform that supports various business functions.
The role involves building and scaling infrastructure for data ingestion, pipelines, and warehouses, enabling self-serve data products and AI-ready platforms.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in data engineering or SQL-heavy analytics roles, preferably in high-growth startups.
Proven experience in building data ingestion pipelines and transformation workflows (dbt or equivalent).
Expert-level SQL skills and fluency in Python or similar languages for automation.
Hands-on experience with BI tools like Looker and Hex, with the ability to evaluate and integrate them.
Strong collaboration skills to gather requirements and drive consensus across teams.
Ability to establish new data engineering processes in ambiguous situations.
Willingness to troubleshoot and resolve issues hands-on.
