Description:

  • Senior Database Engineer role focused on improving performance and reliability of distributed database environment.
  • Work as a key database expert within the Reliability team, collaborating across engineering to enhance monitoring and incident recovery.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience managing and optimizing production databases.
  • Deep experience with distributed databases, relational databases, and SQL, including performance tuning and diagnosing inefficiencies.
  • Ability to assess risks of database changes and communicate technical trade-offs effectively.
