Remote Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, Content Experiences

Description:

• As a Senior Software Engineer on the Content Team, you will own the component library, UI blocks, and in-app features used by millions of shoppers daily.
• You will deliver work end-to-end, from problem statements to production-ready capabilities, ensuring apps are fast, scalable, and extensible.
• Collaboration with other teams is essential to surface new building blocks and deliver AI-enhanced productivity for mobile app development.
• Responsibilities include designing, shipping, and maintaining a reusable, type-safe React/Next.js component system, prototyping new UI and features, optimizing performance, and building tooling for outside developers.

Requirements:

• You should have 5-7 years of experience in software engineering.
• A minimum of 3 years of full-stack development experience with React and Next.js, using TypeScript, is required.
• Experience in building and maintaining design systems or component libraries is necessary.
• Familiarity with cloud deployments and hosting is expected.
• You must be able to ship production-ready code in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Bonus points for having Shopify or eCommerce experience, GraphQL experience, a background in UX, product or design critique, and contributions to open-source component libraries or design-system tooling.
