Remote Senior Fullstack Supabase Engineer

Description:

• Seeking a backend-heavy full-stack developer to build custom software for service-industry clients.
• Initial project involves a QR-code workflow app, with potential for larger projects and long-term collaboration.

Requirements:

• 3–6+ years of experience in production full-stack or backend-heavy web applications.
• Deep hands-on experience with Supabase, including RLS, Edge Functions, and Auth.
• Strong PostgreSQL fundamentals: schema design, indexes, query optimization.
• Proficiency in TypeScript / Node / Deno for backend logic and Edge Functions.
• Strong security instincts regarding RLS, input validation, and permissions.
• Excellent written and spoken English for documentation and communication.
• Self-directed working style with the ability to work independently from specs and prototypes.
• Strong communication skills to explain tradeoffs and suggest improvements.
• Portfolio or case study demonstrating technical skills and thought process.
