Remote Senior Generalist (Python, Data) Engineer - Healthcare AI Platform (US, Remote)

Description:

• Senior hands-on engineer to own and maintain a sophisticated AI platform in production.
• Work on a live system in a regulated enterprise environment, handling real scale and complexity.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience with production systems.
• Generalist mindset across backend development, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong production Python skills and solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Lambda, ECS, SQS, Bedrock, RDS or similar).
• Experience with analytical data pipelines (SQL, Spark) and data processing at scale.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation).
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows.
• Experience maintaining and scaling systems in production.
• Autonomous working style; US-based due to compliance and data security constraints.
