Remote Senior Security Engineer- UK

Description:

• Own and evolve the vulnerability management program focusing on application security.
• Build and maintain security tooling integrated into CI/CD pipelines for automatic security enforcement.
• Utilize AI to enhance coding speed, automate analyses, and develop scalable intelligent tools.
• Assess and improve telemetry usage across systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to promote secure development practices through tools and defaults.
• Investigate and respond to security findings while prioritizing system building over manual issue tracking.
• Adapt to shifting priorities in an agile team environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software/platform engineering with production-quality tool development.
• Deep knowledge of application security and vulnerability management, including CVEs and SDLC integration.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP/GKE.
• Proven use of AI tools in coding and analysis as a core part of work.
• Strong inclination towards automation and tool creation for repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work independently and make judgment calls in ambiguous situations.
• Experience in influencing engineering culture around security practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for articulating security posture to customers.
