Description:

  • Affirm is building its own bank and seeks a Senior Software Engineer for its AI-native engineering team.
  • The role involves owning the bank's systems, launching deposit products, and driving loan originations.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of ownership.
  • Experience in regulated environments (banking, payments, etc.) and strong systems thinking across cloud infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and a bias toward simplicity in engineering culture.
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-engineering stakeholders.
