As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop products and features that make Kin operate, working in Ruby environments with Typescript front-ends and PostgreSQL.
You will collaborate with peers in Dev, Product, QA, and other cross-functional teams, and have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers.
Daily tasks may include writing clean code in Ruby, leading pair programming sessions, driving design tasks, participating in daily stands and weekly retros, and providing subject matter expertise.

Requirements:

You must have a track record of shipping large, complex software projects.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Ruby, Python, or Typescript is required.
Experience with architectural design and the ability to articulate the value of technical investments is necessary.
You should be able to operate with some technical guidance and have experience mentoring engineers.
Familiarity with modern JavaScript libraries or frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) is expected.
You should be comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment and be a fast learner.
Location in Central or Eastern US time zones (CDT & EDT) is strongly preferred.
