Description:

  • Wand is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to enhance its backend systems for game assistance tools.
  • The role involves owning backend components, making architectural decisions, and collaborating with application teams.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in building production backend systems, preferably for consumer products.
  • Proficiency in PHP 8.2 (Laravel/Symfony) or a comparable web stack, with strong relational data modeling skills (MySQL, MariaDB).
  • Familiarity with document or NoSQL databases, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible), and full-stack development (TypeScript).
  • Strong communication skills, self-management, and a passion for UX workflows.
