Description:

Seeking an experienced backend engineer to design, build, and maintain services, databases, and APIs.
Role includes technical direction and coordinated delivery across multiple systems.
Remote position available for applicants based in Canada.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
6+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
Strong experience with Python, Go, or similar backend languages.
Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
Strong understanding of HTTP, REST, JSON, XML, and related web technologies.
Experience with automated testing, CI, Git, and modern development workflows.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
