Description:

  • Intermediate Backend Engineer role focused on backend features and improvements from problem clarification to production.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Frontend, Infrastructure, and Security to enhance quality, security, performance, and maintainability of backend code.

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in building and shipping production backend applications with strong programming, API, database, testing, debugging, and performance fundamentals.
  • Experience with Ruby/Rails, Go, or other modern backend languages; ability to learn and adapt is valued.
  • Strong written communication skills and effective collaboration in a remote, asynchronous environment.
  • Practical experience with AI coding tools and the ability to review and correct AI-generated code.
