Remote Backend Developer - Contingent

Description:

• Aretum is seeking a skilled Backend Developer for technical support, maintenance, and enhancement of a client application in an Agile environment.
• Responsibilities include ensuring application performance, availability, and integration with TypeScript-based front-end components.

Requirements:

• 5 years of backend development experience with a Bachelor’s Degree (or 3 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree).
• Proficiency in Python, AWS, RESTful APIs, relational and non-relational databases, and scalable data solutions.
• Experience with web programming languages (e.g., Ruby, Python) and frameworks (e.g., Django, Rails).
• Familiarity with version control systems and agile methodologies.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
