Remote Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Recoveries)

Description:

• Affirm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Recoveries team to enhance the recovery of charged-off loans and minimize discrepancies with business partners.
• Responsibilities include leading engineering teams, collaborating with product managers, identifying and solving issues, and fostering a culture of quality and ownership.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer with expertise in backend systems using Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with web apps using React or Vue, and designing batch processing or asynchronous workloads.
• Strong communication skills, ownership of personal growth, and ability to manage significant changes in large codebases.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
