Description:

  • Join Octopus Energy as a Backend Engineer in a cross-functional team focused on building high-impact MVPs.
  • Collaborate internationally to develop and integrate new features for the website and mobile app, impacting millions of customers.

Requirements:

  • Fluent spoken English.
  • Strong experience in backend development with Python and Django.
  • Deep understanding of Domain Modelling, software architecture, and API design (GraphQL & REST).
  • Proven ability to write robust, scalable software and experience with PostgreSQL and Celery.
  • Nice to have: Experience with AWS, Terraform, React, and DataDog.
