Description:

  • Build Alpaca's algo trading platform to meet user expectations for quality and performance.
  • Design and architect the platform, contributing to both frontend and backend development.

Requirements:

  • Strong software engineering experience, preferably with lead experience.
  • Proficiency in low and high-level languages (C/C++, Go, Zig, Rust, Java, Scala, Python).
  • Experience with low latency and high throughput optimization.
  • Knowledge of algorithms, distributed systems, and concurrency control.
  • Experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) and Risk Management Systems (RMS).
