Description:

Advance Firefox's security architecture and cryptography stack, focusing on cryptographic protocols and security-sensitive web APIs.
Design and implement web platform security features in collaboration with teammates and the broader web community.
Improve browser reliability, performance, and resource efficiency by resolving issues impacting stability and performance.
Collaborate on security initiatives, identifying and addressing security issues with cross-team partnerships.
Contribute to technical design and planning for security-related initiatives, participating in discussions and evaluations.

Requirements:

Strong software engineering and security fundamentals, with proficiency in C/C++ and understanding of security principles.
Experience in building and maintaining complex software systems in large-scale or security-sensitive environments.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in multi-threaded, cross-platform native applications.
Collaborative communicator, able to work effectively with distributed teams and convey technical concepts clearly.
Growth mindset with a willingness to learn about browser security, cryptography, and systems programming.
Familiarity with web technologies and interest in Rust, comfortable in large, multi-language codebases.
