Description:

Join the Open Source Server team at Temporal to build and maintain the core Temporal server.
Collaborate with experienced engineers to enhance reliability, performance, and developer experience in distributed systems.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in production distributed systems.
Strong knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency, fault tolerance, and performance.
Proficiency in writing concurrent code in languages like Go or Java.
Experience with high-scale backend services and designing backend APIs.
Strong debugging and operational skills, with a focus on reliability and observability.
Collaborative mindset and ability to contribute to technical discussions.
Familiarity with open source software, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and technologies like Elasticsearch, Kubernetes is a plus.

Competitive salary range of $176,000 - $237,600, plus equity participation.
