Remote Senior Software Engineer, Perpetuals

Description:

• Join Polymarket, the world's largest prediction market platform, as a Senior Software Engineer focusing on perpetual futures.
• Own and enhance core backend systems for order matching, position management, and order state management in a high-throughput environment.

Requirements:

• Senior backend engineering experience with a focus on order-book-based exchange systems.
• Deep knowledge of low-latency systems, including concurrency and performance profiling.
• Experience with matching engines and order state management.
• Proficiency or willingness to work in Rust.
• Strong observability skills with metrics, logs, and profiling tools.
• Solid computer science fundamentals in algorithms and systems design.
• (Plus) Experience in high-frequency trading infrastructure and familiarity with Redis, PostgreSQL, gRPC, Protobuf, Kubernetes, and AWS.
