Remote Senior Software Engineer, Reliability

Description:

• Nametag is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to manage infrastructure, reliability, and platform engineering.
• The role involves designing and scaling systems for identity verification, ensuring uptime, security, and developer productivity.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with AWS; familiarity with Fly.io is a plus.
• Proficient in Terraform or equivalent for infrastructure-as-code.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design and performance tuning.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in modern, type-safe programming languages, with a preference for Go.
• Experience with observability tools for logging, tracing, and metrics.
• Prior experience in MLOps and data pipelines in production.
• Startup experience and a security-minded approach to design.
