Description:

Platform engineering role at an early-stage AI startup focused on autonomous back-office and supply chain operations for US manufacturers.
Design and own backend systems, data pipelines, and AI integrations for complex manufacturing workflows.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience building backend services, data pipelines, or platform infrastructure in production environments.
Deep experience with TypeScript and Next.js.
Direct experience with AI frameworks, LLM-based agents, and productionizing ML models.
Ability to design systems with transactional guarantees and idempotent APIs.
Experience with NLP/ML pipelines for unstructured data extraction.
Proficient in designing and scaling PostgreSQL schemas for transactional workloads.
Experience with event-driven systems and reliable data pipelines.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and third-party APIs.
Background in manufacturing supply chain, procurement, or logistics.
Comfortable in a small startup environment; founding experience is a plus.
Strong computer science fundamentals.
