Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• Join Coursedog as a Software Engineer to build and maintain a platform for academic operations used by colleges and universities.
• Work across the stack, from backend services and APIs to frontend applications, collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams.

Requirements:

• Experience with TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and building frontend applications using Vue.js or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in developing backend services with Node.js and knowledge of REST APIs and software design principles.
• Familiarity with databases like MongoDB, Redis, and relational databases.
• Strong debugging skills, ability to learn quickly, and effective communication with technical and non-technical partners.
• Experience using AI tools for development efficiency.
• Nice to have: Experience with AWS, serverless systems, and backend languages beyond Node.js.
