Description:

Join Chainguard as a Senior Software Engineer to build secure, customer-facing infrastructure for open source software.
Work on the Repository team to develop package registries, APIs, and production services for high-scale artifact serving.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in production backend or infrastructure systems with senior-level ownership.
Strong experience in Go or deep backend systems knowledge with the ability to learn Go quickly.
Experience with customer-facing infrastructure like package registries or high-scale serving systems.
Proven ability to deploy and manage production services with a focus on reliability and performance.
Familiarity with application and infrastructure layers, including cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to system improvements.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in remote settings.
