Description:

  • Element 84 seeks a Software Engineer to support federal clients, primarily NASA, NOAA, and USGS, in geospatial data processing and visualization.
  • The role involves building tools for scientists and students to enhance earth science data quality and address environmental and socio-economic issues.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Proficiency in full-stack applications using Python, JavaScript, Clojure, and React.
  • Experience with AWS (S3, IAM, Lambda) and automated testing.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Must reside within 100 miles of Alexandria, VA or Philadelphia, PA for in-person collaboration.
