Description:

  • Vultr is seeking a PHP Software Engineer to build and maintain backend systems for its cloud platform.
  • The role involves developing high-performance PHP applications and optimizing MySQL databases, serving millions of API requests daily.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience with strong proficiency in modern PHP (PHP 8+) and frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or Slim.
  • Expertise in MySQL, RESTful API design, Redis, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure (Vultr, AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across distributed teams.
