Description:

  • Responsible for designing, building, and operating core infrastructure for Planet's engineering teams.
  • Focus on security, scalability, and reliability of a cloud-native platform.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to enhance deployment and operational experience.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years in Platform Engineering, System Administration, DevOps, or SRE roles.
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Linux, and public clouds (GCP or AWS).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, Configuration Management, and GitOps principles.
  • Proficient in building services using Go and Python, and familiar with Docker.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in complex production environments.
