Remote Sr. Application Security Engineer

Description:

• Seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to ensure application security throughout the development lifecycle, collaborating with engineering teams to mitigate vulnerabilities and implement best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in application security or related role.
• Strong experience with AWS security services and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go).
• Strong understanding of web application security (e.g., OWASP Top Ten) and secure coding practices.
• Familiarity with security tools (SAST, DAST, SIEM, WAFs) and container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty or similar certification preferred.
