Remote Sr. Data Engineer

Description:

• Lead the development and scaling of core data infrastructure at Instructure.
• Transform raw data into authoritative data marts by building high-performance pipelines and a robust Semantic Layer.

Requirements:

• Expert-level proficiency in Snowflake or similar Cloud Data Warehouses.
• Advanced mastery of dbt and complex SQL transformation logic.
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Practical experience managing data workloads within AWS.
• Deep understanding of Git-based workflows and CI/CD for data.
• Passion for data modeling and ensuring data governance.
• Ability to design scalable and efficient data environments.
• Problem-solving skills to address data discrepancies.
