Description:

  • Lead and manage a distributed team of data engineers while driving the evolution of the data delivery platform.
  • Architect the next-generation data stack, build proofs-of-concept (POCs), and evaluate new technologies.
  • Transition from a vendor-heavy stack to a flexible, open-source architecture.
  • Utilize AI coding tools to enhance development processes and establish best practices.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering/ETL with a strong hands-on background.
  • Proficiency in SQL and RDBMS, particularly SQL Server and Postgres.
  • Strong AWS experience and familiarity with modern open-source technologies (e.g., ClickHouse, dbt).
  • Experience with AI coding tools and prompt-based development.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
