Description:

Join Lightmatter as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) focusing on firmware automation for cutting-edge photonic hardware.
Design and build frameworks and infrastructure for continuous testing of firmware on real hardware, collaborating closely with firmware engineers.

Requirements:

8+ years of professional software development experience, primarily in embedded systems and test framework design.
Extensive experience with hardware-level automation and CI/CD pipelines for physical hardware.
Strong proficiency in Python and working knowledge of embedded C/C++.
BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience architecting and building at least one automation framework or HIL system from scratch.
