Description:

Join Engine's Billing team to drive the design and implementation of a new billing service, replacing legacy systems with modern microservices.
Collaborate with product teams and the Accounts Receivable team to translate requirements into engineering solutions, while using AI tools for development.

Requirements:

Strong system design skills with the ability to explain architectural decisions and tradeoffs.
Excellent communication skills to convey technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in using AI tools like Claude or Cursor as primary coding interfaces.
Proven experience in delivering complex systems, not just features.
Nice to have: Experience in FinTech, payments, or billing systems; background in Java or Kotlin; familiarity with Terraform, Datadog, or Splunk.
