Description:

  • Seeking a Senior to Staff-level Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to work on Restate's product pillars including OSS, on-prem deployments, Multi-tenant SaaS, and BYOC.
  • Responsibilities include building and operating Restate Cloud, evolving BYOC products, ensuring reliability and observability, and participating in on-call rotation.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in cloud infrastructure with knowledge of major cloud provider architectures.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and cloud orchestration, especially Kubernetes-based stateful workloads.
  • Proficient in a systems programming language (Rust, Go, C++) and willing to learn Rust.
  • Ability to take ownership from design to production operations in a startup environment.
