Remote Staff Engineer (iOS Native) (Match Group Americas, LLC, Dallas, Texas)

Description:

• Lead the definition of iOS architecture roadmap and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices in mobile development.
• Drive modernization and optimization of iOS applications focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and implement new features using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Work with various Apple frameworks and integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and ensure app security compliance with industry standards.
• Analyze app performance metrics and contribute to App Store submission processes.
• Position allows telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, plus 5 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5 years of experience using Swift for high-performance iOS applications with over 1 million users.
• 5 years in Agile development environments and participating in Scrum ceremonies.
• 3 years of experience with SwiftUI, documenting systems, and modern architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM).
• 3 years of experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• 2 years of experience optimizing legacy codebases and using RESTful APIs.
• 2 years of experience with dependency management tools (Cocoapods, Swift Package Manager).
