Description:

Ground News is a platform focused on comparing news sources and promoting media literacy.
The Staff Frontend Engineer will lead the technical direction of web properties to grow user engagement and subscription revenue.
This role involves collaboration with various teams to enhance marketing and conversion strategies using a modern tech stack (Next.js, React, TypeScript).

Requirements:

Proven track record in growing user base and revenue from web properties.
Expertise in building production web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
Experience with CRO functions and modern marketing technology tools.
Strong background in web experimentation (A/B testing) and analytics.
Familiarity with self-serve tooling for non-engineers and experience with PostHog or similar analytics tools.
Knowledge of web performance, accessibility, SEO, and conversion optimization.
Ability to manage safe production rollouts and feature flagging.
