Description:

  • Beacon Biosignals is transforming precision medicine for brain disorders through an at-home EEG platform and comprehensive diagnostics.
  • The Staff Software Engineer will join the Datastore team, focusing on backend systems for data infrastructure, including PostgreSQL, Kafka, and GraphQL API.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of backend development experience, with 3+ years in data platforms and backend infrastructure.
  • Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL, with experience in data streaming and event processing (Kafka or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with containerized environments (Kubernetes, IaC tools like Terraform).
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and improving team practices.
