Description:
- Join Scribd, Inc. as a Staff Software Engineer on the Everand Core team to enhance how users discover and enjoy books.
- Own the backend platform for Everand's web and mobile experiences, focusing on performance, personalization, and reliability.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in backend engineering with a strong track record in building and scaling distributed systems.
- Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Ruby preferred), with a focus on writing clean, maintainable, and secure code.
- Proven technical leadership experience, including mentoring and driving architectural direction.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including PM, design, and ML partners.
