Description:
We are looking for a few world-class frontend engineers who get genuinely excited about building data-intensive dashboards that developers live in for hours.
The role involves making complex, multi-module products feel simple and intuitive.
You will be responsible for squeezing every bit of performance out of React so the UI never gets in the way during a hair-on-fire production incident.
SigNoz is an open-source observability platform that handles metrics, logs, and traces.
The frontend is built using React and TypeScript and manages petabyte-scale data for teams across the world.
The company has over 24,000 GitHub stars, 7,000+ members in our Slack community, and 500+ customers.
This is not a pixel-pushing role; you will own big chunks of the product experience end-to-end.
You will design and build complex interactions across multiple modules, including dashboards, traces, logs, and alerts.
The role requires you to architect for performance, focusing on virtualization, progressive loading, smart caching, and avoiding unnecessary renders.
You will work closely with the founders and backend team to ship features that directly help engineers resolve incidents faster.
A few things that matter for this role include thinking in systems, caring about product UX as much as clean code, being self-driven with a lot of ownership, and enjoying deep dives into performance using profiling tools and browser internals.
The company is remote-first, with no offices, allowing you to work from wherever you do your best work.
You will be part of a small, sharp team that ships fast in a huge market, as observability is a $20B+ market and growing.
Requirements:
You must be a front-end engineer who loves React and TypeScript.
You should care deeply about user experience and performance.
You need to be self-driven and comfortable working with a lot of ownership.
You should enjoy going deep on performance and be unafraid of using profiling tools and understanding browser internals.
You must think in systems, not just screens.
You should have a strong focus on product UX as well as clean code.
Benefits:
The position offers a remote-first work environment, allowing you to work from anywhere.
You will be part of a small, agile team that is capable of shipping quickly in a rapidly growing market.
You will have the opportunity to work on a product that is essential for engineers, enhancing their ability to resolve incidents efficiently.
